Ajax vs Real Madrid – over 3.5 goals
With a 3-0 win over AEK Athens and following that with a draw away to Bayern Munich, confidence continued to grow in the Johan Cruyff Arena.
Ajax have fallen on some tough times in recent weeks, including a 6-2 thrashing against old rivals Feyenoord at the end of January. Ajax haven’t been beaten on home soil since November 2017, and they have lost just 1 of their last 21 European home games.
Real Madrid picked up yet another Champions League trophy last season, and while they suffered a very difficult patch earlier in the season, it seems that Santiago Solari has righted the ship. With an impressive win over arch rivals Atletico Madrid, Scolari men made it 7 games unbeaten in all competitions, and 6 of these have ended in victory.
This is an impressive record, but Ajax take that even further, with at least 4 goals in each of their last 6 competitive home matches.
We fancy loads of goals and over 3.5 Goals looks good.
Tottenham vs Dortmund – Both teams to score
Tottenham Hotspur have beaten Leicester 3-1 at Wembley on Sunday to keep them on the outskirts of the Premier League title race, and after being eliminated from both domestic cups, Mauricio Pocchettino will be eager to keep their hunt for silverware alive against Borussia Dortmund.
They have won 11 of their 15 competitive matches since the end of the group stages.
Borussia Dortmund aren’t exactly underdogs here though. Unlike Spurs, Dortmund sailed through their group stage campaign with ease. However, last few weeks they have dropped points against both Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund will be keen to get back on track as they hunt for some silverware of their own.
One thing we can hope for is an entertaining match, what is for sure both teams find the net in 7 of their last 8 in the competition.
Both Teams to Score bet look very attractive indeed.
